Our capital improvement efforts are officially underway, starting with an important project: caring for our beautiful stained-glass windows.
We recently completed a professional assessment to evaluate the condition of the glass before replacing its aging protective panels. The current polycarbonate covers have yellowed over time, obscuring the vibrant beauty they were originally designed to protect.
This assessment gives us a clear look at how the stained glass has held up over the past 45 years and will help us decide if any restoration work is needed before installing new coverings. We are currently exploring tempered glass as a replacement option, which provides lasting protection without yellowing over time.
While it may seem like a small step, it is a vital one. By doing a thorough inspection first, we are ensuring this work is done thoughtfully and responsibly—preserving these sacred works of art for generations to come.
