NFCC CoatsGiving 2025!

ree

The NFCC CoatsGiving program (Thanksgiving and Coat Drive) helps ease the financial burden of the holiday season for local families in need. Families are provided with all the essentials to prepare a Thanksgiving meal at home. Additionally, each family receives coats and winter accessories to stay warm during the winter months. THANK YOU for helping to warm the hearts and fill the plates of over 600 families this season. Here's how you can help.

Warm Coats, Hats and Gloves:

  • We’re collecting new or gently used coats, hats, and gloves for all ages. Drop off donations in the designated area in the mailbox hallway. No time to shop? You can purchase new items directly from our Amazon Wish List. Deadline: Sunday, November 9

Turkey And Protein Collection:

  • Collection Dates: Sunday, 11/9 and 11/16. Beginning after the 7:45 a.m. service and throughout all Sunday services.

  • Donation Request: Frozen Turkey or Chicken (whole or breast), Holiday Ham and Frozen Lasagna

  • Drop off Location: Just drive around to the back kitchen door of Jeffords Hall and a St. David’s volunteer will be there to happily take your donation.

Volunteer During Distribution Week:

  • November 17-22. St. David’s will host the NFCC CoatsGiving 2025 event in Jeffords Hall to organize and distribute the coat and winter accessories and the food donations. Join us as we welcome families and volunteers from across the community. We need help greeting guests, distributing items, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for over 600 families. To volunteer in the parking lot, contact Shelby Crain. If you prefer to work inside Jeffords Hall doing receiving and sorting, let us know and we will reserve a time for you.

THANK YOU!
