Welcome Sunday is a special day when our entire parish is encouraged to intentionally invite and welcome others into our church family.
Who might you invite?
Someone who doesn't regularly attend church
A friend or neighbor searching for a spiritual home
A coworker or family member looking for community
A former member who has been away for a while
Someone you've recently met who could use encouragement and connection
A simple invitation can make a lasting difference. Together, we have the opportunity to share Christ's love and introduce others to the warmth, joy, and fellowship of St. David's.
Need Help Inviting Someone?
Not sure how to start the conversation? Begin by introducing yourself to someone at church you haven't met yet. Strike up a conversation! Once you've taken that first step, inviting someone who isn't at church will feel much more natural. Parishioner Dave Fry said it best during Sunday's announcements.
