VBS 2026 Was SHINING!

VBS 2026 Theme: "Let Your Light Shine!" 

We had an amazing week at VBS as we explored how God’s love shines through us every day. Through Bible stories, music, crafts, games, and plenty of laughter, we learned how to let our lights shine through kindness, helping others, courage, love, and sharing.

The week began with excitement as we discovered what it means to reflect God’s love in our daily lives. As the days continued, we learned how caring for others shines God’s light through the story of the Good Samaritan. It was inspiring to see friendships grow and kindness flourish as our children practiced serving and encouraging one another.

Later in the week, we focused on courage through the story of David and Goliath. We learned that courage isn’t only for facing giants—it can mean trying something new, standing up for a friend, tackling a difficult challenge, or doing the right thing when it’s hard. God’s light shines through us whenever we trust Him and act with courage.

The story of Jesus welcoming the little children illustrated the power of Love. Jesus showed that every person is precious and important, and He invites us to share His love with others every day.

And finally, shine God’s light through sharing. As Jesus told his disciples in the Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Throughout the week, our halls were filled with joyful singing, creative projects, engaging Bible lessons, exciting games, and smiling faces. Most importantly, we were reminded that God’s love shines brightly through each of us.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, families, and children who made this week so special. We are grateful for the fun, fellowship, and faith we shared together, and we pray that the lessons learned at VBS will continue to shine in our hearts long after the
