You're Invited!

Join us in celebrating the opening of Homebound Ranch, the new transitional living home for families overcoming homelessness:

  • Open House & House Blessing: Sunday, August 17, from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m.

  • Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Thursday, August 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We’re thrilled to announce that the house located at 985 Old Roswell Road, purchased by St. David’s, is now officially Homebound Ranch—the newest transitional living facility supported by Family Promise of North Fulton/Dekalb. After 18 months of renovations and a groundbreaking celebration last August, the home is ready to begin its mission: helping families transition from instability to independence.

Renovations included a new roof, structural repairs, plumbing upgrades, and much more. This transformation was made possible through the dedication of our vestry, generous donors, and a ministry grant from the Episcopal Community Foundation for Middle and North Georgia. Special thanks go to Angie and Scott Hitch of Hitch Law, LLC, and Crabapple LandscapExperts for their contributions.

About Homebound Ranch

Homebound Ranch is the first transitional living home designed specifically for families who have successfully completed the Rotational Shelter program. The home features five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shared living area, and kitchen, and will accommodate two families at a time for six months to a year. This supportive housing environment will offer the stability families need to take their final steps toward lasting self-sufficiency.

Our Ongoing Partnership with Family Promise

St. David’s has a long-standing partnership with Family Promise, a national nonprofit organization working to end homelessness through housing, education, and support. For several years, we’ve hosted families as part of the Rotational Shelter program, welcoming 1–2 families at a time into our Sinclair House for a week-long stay, three to four times a year. Our volunteers assist with move-in and move-out logistics, grocery shopping, and meal preparation—offering not only practical help but also compassion and hospitality.

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating this incredible milestone. Come tour Homebound Ranch and witness the impact your support is making in the lives of families working toward a brighter, more secure future.

Family Promise Rotational Shelter Host Week, August 15-24

We will welcome 2 families (including 2 babies) to the Sinclair House two days early this time, on Friday August 15th and host them until Sunday, August 24th, sharing the love of Jesus by providing each family with a comfortable room of their own and nourishing meals. It takes a lot of volunteers to make the week a success, so please check the signup link below to see where your strengths can be used. Questions about how you can help? Please contact Claudia Zimmermann.
