Information
Thursdays beginning October 9,10:00-11:30 a.m. in Jeffords Hall. The Thursday Morning Bible Study invites everyone to attend their special seven-week class in the Fall—the fascinating tale of the Book of Esther. This is the Old Testament “made understandable”! Esther is the incredible true story of the survival of God’s people amid hostility in the Persian Empire. Esther is a beautiful Jewish orphan who becomes Queen of Persia and is used by God to save her people from extermination. Interestingly, the name of God is not mentioned once in this beloved Old Testament book, yet God’s providential care is intertwined all through her dramatic story! Hers is a tale of danger and courage. You don’t have to be a Bible expert to enjoy this class. We laugh, hug, drink coffee, and study—and we have a place for you!
The class is free and is also available as a live Zoom chat or as a YouTube lesson. If you are interested, please contact Kim Freeman.
