Preguntas Frecuentes

Tómese un minuto y planifique su visita a St. David's.

01

Do I need to be a member of St. David’s to participate?

Not at all! Our Small Groups are open to everyone. Whether you have been attending St. David’s for years, are brand new to our community, or are simply curious about exploring faith, you are welcome. Feel free to invite a neighbor, friend, family member, or coworker to join you as well!

02

What happens at a typical Small Group meeting?

While every group has its own unique personality, most gatherings include a time to connect and check in with one another, prayer, discussion around the week's study, and an opportunity to share prayer requests before closing in prayer. Most groups meet for about 60–70 minutes.

03

What is the time commitment for Philippians for Everyone?

This fall's study will last for 8 weeks. Since Philippians is a relatively short book of the Bible, groups will begin meeting during the week of September 14 and conclude before Thanksgiving.

04

Do I need to attend every meeting?

We encourage you to attend as regularly as possible. Building relationships—with God and with one another—takes time, and consistent participation helps foster deeper connections. That said, we understand that life happens! If you need to miss a week, we hope you'll simply join us again the following week.

05

How do I sign up?

Groups will be posted on our website, where you can browse the available options and register for the group that best fits your schedule and interests. Please note that some groups may have participant limits in order to encourage meaningful conversation and connection.

06

Do I need to have read the Bible before?

Nope! Small Groups are for everyone, whether you are opening the Bible for the first time or have been studying Scripture for years. Come as you are and start where you are.

07

Do I need to pray out loud or share personal things?

Participation is always encouraged, but never required. We invite you to participate at a level that feels comfortable to you. You are never expected to pray aloud or share anything you would prefer to keep private.

08

What will I need?

All you'll need is a copy of Philippians for Everyone (included in your registration fee), a Bible, and a sense of curiosity as we explore Scripture together.
