Un Mensaje de la Comité de Mayordomía
El año pasado, el personal, la junta parroquial y los líderes ministeriales de St. David han estado discerniendo el llamado de Dios en nuestra vida común. Este llamado nos lleva a mejorar las formas en que la luz de nuestra comunidad de fe brilla dentro de nuestra iglesia. y hacia la comunidad circundante. A través de nuestras donaciones financieras, buscamos encender la luz de Cristo, aumentar la intensidad de esa luz y hacer brillar esa luz juntos. A lo largo de nuestra campaña anual de donaciones de este año, exploraremos cómo podemos hacer brillar una luz más brillante, no solo en 2023, sino en los años venideros.
Lo invitamos a contemplar en oración cómo sus dones pueden ayudar a St. David a crecer juntos como una comunidad santa a través del amor profundo, el servicio apasionado y la respuesta al llamado de hacer brillar la luz de Dios dondequiera que Dios nos llame.

The Annual Giving fuels daily life at St. David's. It funds worship, pastoral care, children's formation, outreach, music and the ministries that touch lives every day. Each, year, we invite every household to make a pledge for the coming year as a tangible expression of gratitude and commitment. Guided by the Episcopal Church's call to the spiritual discipline of the tithe (10%), each gift, no matter the size, strengthens the shared work of our parish.

This campaign will:

Reduce our long-term debt to potentially free up $150,000 annually for ministry, a profound and lasting gift for future generations. ($1,150,000)

Renew our worship and gathering spaces. The Nave, the heart or our worship life, will be lovingly restored. We'll replace carpets, refresh paint, enhance acoustics, renew bathrooms and hallways, improve egress and safety, and protect our stained-glass windows — ensuring our sacred space sines with beauty and warmth. ($300,000)

In Grace Hall, our original church home, we'll refinish floors, enhance lighting and window treatments, modernize the kitchen and update AV technology. It will be restored as a dynamic, multiuse space for worship, fellowship, and formation. ($300,000)

Legacy giving allows parishioners to extend their faith and generosity into the future. Through bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance, and other planned gifts, we can build a lasting endowment that supports St. David's for generations to come. By expanding our endowment and encouraging more planned gifts, we will secure resources needed for long-term stability and growth.
