Outdoor Ministry Family Hike Sunday February 26, 2023!

Information about Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area | Jones Bridge Unit

• Join other families and friends from St. David’s to explore this gently sloping riverside hike!
• Look for wide winged cormorants flying swiftly above the water, hear the winter song of the red tipped cardinal, and even spy a busy beaver swimming along the water’s edge.
• Be ready to hike at 2:30 p.m. from the trail head located at 8615 Barnwell Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022
• National Park Pass can be used for parking fee or $5 (exact change) per car.
• Hooray! There are restrooms at trail head!
• Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing appropriate to the weather.
• Bring water and an adventurous spirit.
• After the hike there will be time to gather and share.
