St. David’s Episcopal Church Preschool: Three-year olds

This program is for children 3 years of age by 9/01/08

NOTE: - CHILDREN MUST BE POTTY TRAINED

Three day per week classes are held on Mon/Wed/Fri, or on Tue/Thu/Fri from 9:30AM-12:30PM and the cost is $1,800 per year or 9 monthly payments of $200. Children arrive and depart by way of a carpool line.

NOTE: - AN EXTENDED DAY WILL BE OFFERED UNTIL 1:30PM ONCE A WEEK FOR $25 PER MONTH, SIGN UP FOR THIS IS IN SEPT. 2008.

Class size is limited to fifteen students. Children enjoy free play, circle time activities with numbers, shapes, colors, weather, calendar activities, and stories. Students play games and make art projects based on unit learning. Children enjoy a Music and Movement class for 30 minutes once a week, attend a 15 minute preschool chapel time with a chaplain of St. David’s church once a week, and go outdoors to play on the upper playground daily as weather permits. The snack is provided on a rotating basis from the student’s family. The preschool provides paper goods and drinks.

Teaching focus is on social interaction skills, fine motor, and early learning skills. Evaluations are given to parents in January and again in May.
