  • Ministerio Juvenil | St. David's Episcopal Church

Middle and high school can feel like a whirlwind—balancing classes, extracurriculars, friendships, family dynamics, and the many “firsts” that come with growing up: driving, dating, preparing for college. It’s a lot. At St. David’s, we aim to be a steady presence in the midst of it all. Our youth community is a safe, welcoming space where young people are encouraged to bring their whole selves—questions, doubts, hopes, and joys. Here, they’ll find acceptance, belonging, and the tools to make a real impact in the world through the transforming love of God. Together, we learn, pray, serve, laugh, and grow—building a more beloved community along the way. ¿Preguntas? Mark may be the shortest of the four gospels, but it contains the most events. Mark’s writing about Jesus’ life is fast-paced and action-packed. With vivid details, he shows us a Savior on the move. Mark’s purpose in writing is to convey the exciting, life-changing Good News about Jesus. He encourages us to respond to Jesus’ invitation to become a faithful disciple too! You don’t have to be a Bible expert to enjoy this class. This is Scripture “made understandable”! We laugh, hug, drink coffee, study, and pray—and we have a place for you! New faces welcomed! Join us in Jeffords Hall every Thursday from 10:00—11:30 a.m. beginning September 17.
