UPDATE
Greetings from the Nominating Committee! We are full speed ahead on finding our next rector. We are accepting applications through next Friday, and already have interviews lined up with some stellar candidates in the coming weeks. The Committee is working hard and with great urgency in hopes of providing its nominations for the rector position to the Vestry this Spring.
We ask for your continued prayers for our Committee, each of our candidates, and the entire St. David’s family.
May God’s hand be upon this process!

We are accepting applications through next Friday, and already have interviews lined up with some stellar candidates in the coming weeks. The Committee is working hard and with great urgency in hopes of providing its nominations for the rector position to the Vestry this Spring.
We ask for your continued prayers for our Committee, each of our candidates, and the entire St. David’s family.

As you know, the Nominating Committee previously suspended its search for our next rector in light of the ongoing pandemic. We have not, however, let this time go to waste. Throughout our pause, we have been in regular contact with each of our candidates and we’re happy to report that each is still interested in our rector position. We have also used the last several months as an opportunity to get to know our candidates and their parishes virtually, watching online services and monitoring how each parish has continued to “be the church” during the COVID-19 crisis.
While conditions still prevent us from traveling to the parishes of our candidates or observing in-person services, the Committee has resumed regular meetings and we are monitoring the situation closely to determine the soonest time when we can safely begin those activities.
We sincerely thank everyone for your patience. We remain confident that God will lead us to our next rector, even if not on the original timeline we envisioned. We are also thankful to Father Dean who has agreed to remain at St. David’s until we have secured our next rector. Please continue to pray for our Committee, each of our candidates, and our entire St. David’s family as we move forward.
