Having a current Last Will and Testament is a loving and responsible act for the sake of your family and/or beneficiaries. Not only can it legally protect your family and assets, but it can also state exactly how you want things handled after you have passed away.
A bequest in a will can take the form of:
Simple language for including St. David’s in your will might be: “I give, devise, and bequeath (state amount, asset, or percentage of the estate) to St. David’s Episcopal Church, 1015 Old Roswell Road, Roswell, GA 30075 to be used (describe use) or as the St. David’s Vestry deems appropriate.” If you already have a will, a simple codicil can be executed as an appendage. BEQUEST INTENTION FORM If you have already included St. David’s in your will, we thank you and encourage you to communicate your intention by completing the Bequest Intention Form. Completing this form is not binding on you or your estate. This information will greatly assist us in planning for the future and give us an opportunity to acknowledge your gift during your lifetime, if you so desire.
