St. David's will be celebrating Shrove Tuesday on March 1 in the very best way, with a pancake dinner and parade in Jeffords Hall! During this time, we will be serving up fresh pancakes, spending time in fellowship, and with crafting stations set up for the children to make crowns, masks, and noise makers for a fun parade towards the end of the night. All are invited to attend, and we can’t wait to see you there! Adults $4.00, children $1.00.
Clean Start for the New Year Most of us worry more about having time to do the laundry than about having detergent to use, but that is not true for everyone around us. One highly sought- but seldom donated item at the North Fulton Community Charities' Food Pantry is laundry detergent. Let’s help! Please bring POWDERED laundry detergent to church and leave it in the mailbox hallway. Our young people will divide it all up into smaller, labelled baggies for the Pantry. We made 200 bags last time. Let’s outdo ourselves this year! PLUS, Fruit for February As fast as we put peaches, pears, and pineapple, etc. on shelves, they fly out the door to a family in need. Please consider adding a can or two of fruit to your grocery cart each time you shop in February. Drop your cans in the Blue Bin in the mailbox hallway and they will find their way to the Pantry! General Food Pantry Word to the Wise: Please avoid glass containers. Too many opportunities for breakage. Both items needed for February. All Youth, 6 - 12 grade, are welcome to attend! For more information, contact Grace Horn, Director of Youth Ministry.
Join the St. David’s Hunger Walk Team!
March 6th is the 38th annual Hunger Walk/Run in Atlanta! This event is put on by the Atlanta Community Food bank and is aimed to raise awareness and funds for local hunger relief. Proceeds from this event benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank, as well as other nonprofit organizations that help fight food insecurity in the local community, including the Episcopal Community Foundation! For many years, St. David’s has sent a team to participate in the Hunger Walk/Run, and this year we are excited to take part again! To register, please CLICK HERE and select “Join a Team”. Select the “St. David’s” team, and you can complete the registration process from there. The walk will start at The Home Depot Backyard (1 Backyard Way, Atlanta, GA 30313). If you chose to join the team, more information will be sent out to the team once it is created. The hunger walk is a wonderful event and a great chance to make a difference in our greater Atlanta community, so please consider joining us! If you have any questions about the Hunger Walk/Run, or about how to register, please reach out to Grace Horn, Director of Youth Ministries. Dear friends, Through the week we have been monitoring closely the forecasts for Sunday morning. As of Friday afternoon, there is a very high likelihood of a significant winter weather event on Sunday morning before, during, and after our church hours. As a result, St. David’s will be cancelling its in-person worship services and events; an online worship service will still be available. We anticipate that driving conditions to and from the campus will be unsafe, and so we encourage you to remain home and make safe decisions through the weather event. The campus will be closed at 5:00 PM on Saturday and will reopen on Tuesday morning, conditions permitting. Please look to the app, social media, and the website for the most up-to-date information. Grace and Peace, Remington Men of St. David’s,

Thanks, Ron Felder Location: JFH 1015 Old Roswell Rd. Roswell, GA 30076 view map Organizer: Ron Felder St. David's was honored to partner with North Fulton Community Charities last week as we hosted their 2021 Thanksgiving Food Distribution Program. Donations of food were brought to St. David's from all over the area which were then sorted by volunteers from all over the Fulton County. Over 500 households were able to have a Thanksgiving meal because of this program and St. David's was honored to support this effort by donating our facilities, collecting food, and providing volunteers to help direct traffic in the parking lot, sort food, pack bags, and more! Almighty and gracious Father, make us, we pray, faithful stewards of your great bounty, for the provision of our necessities and the relief of all who are in need, to the glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. - Book of Common Prayer, page 246 St. David's is collecting donations of 10- 12 lb. frozen Turkeys to help support our community outreach partner NFCC's Holiday Food Program.
