The ABC's of Becoming a Member

We rejoice in all those who come to St. David's for worship and service.  If you would like to make St. David's your church home, please pick up a "Welcome Packet" from the Visitor table located just inside  the front doors of the church.  Inside you will find a "New Member Information Sheet."  Please fill this sheet out and return it to the church office.

The office will put you and your family on our church database, make a mailbox for you, make a nametag for you, and start mailing the church newsletter to you.  There is a place on the back of the form for you to request that your membership be transferred from another parish.  St. David's church office will generate a letter to your past church to request the transfer when they receive this form.  When this process is completed, you will then be a "MEMBER OF THE PARISH!"

A VISITOR TO ST. DAVID'S IS:

• a person who is visiting and getting to know us
• a person who is interested in St. David's, but not a member

A MEMBER OF THE PARISH IS:

• a baptized Christian
• one who looks to St. David's as his/her parish
• a person regular in attendance
• a participant in the programs of the parish
• a person who gives systematically through a recorded pledge or gift (the 10% tithe is the standard)

A COMMUNICANT IS:

• a member of the parish (see above)
• a confirmed Episcopalian whose letter of transfer is at St. David's
