Four year old/Pre-K limited enrollment for children turning
4 years of age before 12/31/11 Classic
Pre-K Fours This
program is for children 4 years of age by 9/01/11 NOTE:
- CHILDREN MUST BE POTTY TRAINED Classes
are held TU-F from 9:30am-12:30pm. The cost is $2,115 per year
or 9 monthly payments of $235. Children arrive and depart by way
of a carpool line.
NOTE:
- AN EXTENDED DAY WILL BE OFFERED UNTIL 1:30pm ONCE A WEEK FOR
$25/ MO.
Children
in Pre-K classes have the option to SIGN UP FOR 2 EXTENDED DAYS
AT A COST OF $45 /MO. SIGN UP FOR THIS IS IN AUG. 2011 These
classes are for children preparing for Kindergarten. We
offer limited enrollment to children who will turn 4 before Dec.
31, 2011 in order to prepare for our Young Five’s program.
Children enjoy free play, circle time activities including
alphabet, numbers, weather, calendar activities, and stories.
Students play games and make art projects based on the letter of
the week. Teachers work with children in small groups to teach
fine motor skills such as cutting, writing, and counting skills.
Children attend a Music and Movement class for 30 minutes twice
a week, attend a 15 minute preschool chapel time with a cleric
of St. David’s church once a week, and go outdoors to play on
the upper playground daily as weather permits. The snack is
provided on a rotating basis from the student’s family. The
preschool provides paper goods and drinks.
Teaching
focus is on developing Kindergarten readiness involving social
interaction, fine motor, and early learning skills. Detailed
evaluations are given to parents in January and again in May.
Due at the time of
registration is a yearly supply fee of: $120
for the first child, $95 per sibling
