In the hands of the loyal and creative people of St. David’s, volunteer jobs in many areas are offered as service to our Lord. All ministries welcome your involvement. CARING COMMITTEE
Caring is a ministry within our parish community. Caring provides a meal where there is an event in a household with a new baby or an extended illness or a death. Food is prepared periodically during the year at Cook-A-Thons and is stored in the Caring Freezer. Volunteers are asked to be responsible for delivery of food for a two-week period of time.

CAREER TRANSITION MINISTRY
A resource and support group for those going through a career transition whether victims of downsizing, the under-employed, individuals returning to the work force or about to begin a career. They provide resources and support for the job seeker and other family members as well.

COFFEE HOUR
Hosts for this traditional after-church fellowship serve in rotating teams. Sign-up can be as individuals, as couples, or as a whole team. It is a great way to get to know others while you offer the gift of hospitality.

FLOWER AMBASSADORS
Every Sunday these dedicated volunteers take the altar flowers to designated recipients. Each Ambassador or pair of Ambassadors has a few Sundays a year.

ST. FRANCIS GUILD
This is a group of dedicated men and women who help to maintain the church Memorial Garden where ashes of our dearly departed are buried. The Memorial Garden underwent extensive improvements in 2002 and is a wonderful place to go for quiet reflection.

ST. THERESA’S GUILD
These are the wonderful people who gather every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. to get our weekly newsletter and other critical mailings ready for mailing.

STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE
At St. David's, we believe in the contribution of time, talent, and treasure from every member, according to his/her needs and capabilities. Our Biblical goal is the 10% tithe. Stewardship is a year-round mission at St. David's. The Stewardship committee makes plans each year for the annual stewardship campaign.

WEDDING GUILD
Two or three members of the Wedding Guild attend every wedding and rehearsal at St. David's to assist the clerics and bridal party and guests. Click here to view/download the St. David's Wedding Handbook.  Click here to view Contacts and Fees for weddings.

GUILD OF THE CHRIST CHILD
Baptismal banners are made by this guild for the babies when they are baptized.

COUNTING GUILD
This group of parishioners devotes their time and talents to count the Sunday collection each week. The guild has several teams who work in a weekly rotation.

COLLEGE MINISTRY
This ministry serves our young adults who have graduated from high school and are now attending college. The goal of this committee is to maintain contact with these students and let them know that although they may be away from their home parish, they are still in our hearts and prayers.

MAGNETIC MINISTRY
This ministry makes audio recordings of services or other parish functions at St. David’s, for distribution to those who are unable to attend or those who wish to share the services with their friends and families.
