The Reverend Father
Paul S. Winton
Fr.
Paul was
born in 1954 in Albany, New York. He spent most of his childhood in
the care of the St. Francis Boy’s Homes (Episcopal). Following
his public education, his undergraduate study was in industrial sociology
leading to a business career in personnel and labor relations. His graduate
work was in the area of business and health care administration. Prior
to entering Holy Orders, Father Winton worked as an executive in the
healthcare industry serving several years as a medical center CEO. Father
Winton’s son, Tyler Paul, is a student at Peabody College at Vanderbilt
University.
Father Winton entered Holy Orders and was ordained in the Diocese of
South Carolina. His theological training is from the School of Theology
at the University of the South. He comes to St. David’s following
a five year cure as Sr. Priest Associate at Grace Episcopal Church,
Charleston, South Carolina.
Fr. Paul was installed as the Fourth Rector of St. David’s on
October 3, 2001.
The Rev’d Anne Elizabeth Swiedler,
Assistant to the Rector for
Pastoral Care & Spiritual Formation
Rev'd
Anne Elizabeth is a native of Newton, Massachusetts and
worked as a healthcare educator at Northside and Saint Joseph's Hospitals
for 18 years. She was ordained to the transitional diaconate in June
2002,
and was ordained to the priesthood on January 25, 2003, here at St. David's Church.
She
is married to Ed and they have 2 grown children living here in Atlanta,
Chris and Caroline. She is a graduate of the Candler School of Theology
at Emory University and studied at Sewanee School of Theology in the
Anglican Studies program.
The Rev’d Fr. Todd R. Dill,
Rector's Associate
Fr.
Todd was called in March, 2004, to be Assistant to the
Rector for Family Ministries. This position will focus on pastoral care
to families, seeking to support marriage and parenting. This cleric will
practice a strong ministry of presence (being with families in time of
need) and will seek to make life a little easier for the highly stressed
post-modern family.
Mr. Dill is married to Regina, and has
two children, Madison and Connor.
Prior to Seminary, Todd was a professional musician. He holds a Bachelors
and a Masters in Music from the University of Cincinnati College—Conservatory. Todd served
in the United States Air Force for 7 years prior to theological studies.
Todd is a native of Warrenton, VA. He completed his theological studies
in May, 2004, with a Masters in Divinity from The School of Theology of
The University Of The South. He was ordained a transitional Deacon in
June, 2004, and began his cure at St. David’s shortly thereafter.
Deacon Dill was ordained to the priesthood on January 15, 2005, at St. David's
The Rev’d Fr. Julio Lema,
Assistant to the Rector for Mission
Fr. Lema was ordained to the priesthood in January, 2008. He leads
our thriving and active Hispanic Ministry.
