Sunday Morning Nursery Offerings:

The St. David's Episcopal Church nursery provides care for youngsters at the 9:00 am and 11:15 am Sunday services, as well as on Wednesday evenings, and at other special services. Our staff consists of 6 paid adult caregivers, 17 adult volunteers and 27 youth caregivers.

The nursery caregivers are dedicated to:
+Providing a safe, clean and nurturing environment for the children of St. David’s (ages infant through PreK/4’s) – a place for our youngest parishioners to rest, play, eat and be loved.
+Providing the children of St. David’s with the love and care necessary for a happy stay in the nursery.
+Providing parents the opportunity to worship without worry knowing their children are in good hands.

Nursery Services available for Infants through PreK/4’s:
Sunday mornings, 9:00 am and 11:15 am.
In the Infant, Toddler, and Just-Turned-Two rooms, we have a consistent lead caregiver every Sunday to make the nurseries as comfortable and familiar as possible for our little ones and their parents. The other caregivers are a combination of adult volunteers and youth caregivers who serve on a rotational basis.

The parents of two, three, and four-year-old children serve as caregivers in their children’s rooms on a rotating basis.

Other Nursery Offerings:

We provide nursery care for infants through PreK  for the Wednesday evening programs (7:00 – 8:00 p.m.). These programs are scheduled in “blocks.” Contact the church office (770-993-6084) for current schedules. RSVP’s are required for the Wednesday evening nursery by calling 770-993-1094, x130, by Monday of the program week so we can ensure adequate coverage! You may also make your reservation online by going to “Wednesday Nights” on the left Nav bar of this page.

Additionally, we provide nursery care for many special services and programs, such as Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve services. Notification about nursery offerings for those services is published in the Illumination newsletter.

Guild of the Christ Child:

We share in your joy and excitement for your upcoming or new addition to your family!

We want to remind you that all expectant and new mothers are invited to become members of the Guild of the Christ Child at St. David's Episcopal Church. The GOTCC is a support, social, and service group that provides organized interaction among expectant mothers and mothers of infants. We schedule a guest speaker for the first half of each meeting, with the remainder of the meeting being an open forum for the moms to talk and share ideas. Members are encouraged to invite friends who are expecting or are new mothers.

Our meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of every month in Grace Cottage during the school year. Childcare will be provided for older siblings and/or your newborn, although your newborn is welcome to join us.

We hope you will join us. Please call Lisa, facilitator, at 770-740-0931, or Betsy at 770-993-1094, ext. 118, if you have any questions.

Christ Child’s Closet

The Christ Child Closet (sponsored by St. David's Guild of the Christ Child) is a "shop" for needy families in and around St. David's church, for parents expecting a child, or with a baby 0 - 24 months of age. Items that are donated from members of St. David's and beyond will include basically everything including clothes for a new baby. Those who attend will be able to "shop" for free. Donations will be accepted right up until the opening day! Remember that your donations are tax-deductible. The Christ Child's Closet will open once per quarter.

The closet is located at the Sinclair House at 975 Old Roswell Rd., Roswell, GA -- just 2 doors down from St. David's Episcopal Church.

If you have donations, questions or need additional information, please contact Lisa Puckett, facilitator, at 770-740-0931.
